Young Leaders Scholarship

Criteria for the Young Leaders Scholarship

Scholarships are available to first-time attendees that meet the following criteria:

  • An individual or couple  serving in a United Methodist Church
  • Under the age of 40
  • It must be your first time attending the conference
  • You must submit a letter of recommendation from you District Superintendent or Bishop

Instructions to register:

  1. Go to the Registration Page
  2. Enter your email
  3. Select “Young Pastor Scholarship”. If your spouse will also attend, select “Young Pastor Scholarship (Couple)”
  4. Complete the registration process for each person attending (include your spouse as a separate registration with the “Young Pastor Scholarship (Couple)” type.
  5. Your registration will be approved when we receive the letter of recommendation from your District Superintendent or Bishop.
  6. Once approved, your hotel reservations will be made for you – if you are not registering as a couple, you will be assigned a roommate.

What the Scholarship Covers

The Young Pastors Scholarship is designed to help young pastors engage and enhance their ministry through workshops, dynamic worship, and networking. The scholarship covers the following:

  • Event registration fees
  • Continuing Education Credit fees
  • Hotel Accommodations during the nights of the event (nights of Jan. 3, 4 and 5)

Meals and travel must be provided by the participant. Scholarships are available for couples. Please let us know if you will need provisions for children in your hotel room by emailing registrar@congressonevangelism.org.
